When the war of life is raging around you, it may be hard to hear what God is saying. Those are the times to stay in peace and listen intently to hear His call. Distractions have a way of choking out God’s guidance in your walk with Him. “Be still and know that I am God”, says Psalm 46:10. Being still means staying in peace and fellowship with God through prayer and thoughtful consideration, learning how to discern His voice when He speaks to your Spirit. Being out of peace, frustrated and stressed, limits God’s ability to reach your spirit, which is exactly what the enemy of your faith wants.
Find Your Purpose Now…
“…speak, Lord your servant is listening…”
1 Samuel 3:9
God is calling you into battle, just like Samuel who was spoken to in the above scripture. God wants you to do something great and He has a plan for your life. You were not created to live a life of mere existence, but one of abundant living and of great joy, His word promises such. The call in your life has been put there by God, and it is up to you to find that call and answer it.
Many times dissatisfaction in life comes about when someone is not living with the purpose God has called them to. God may use restlessness as a way to awaken your faith. If this is the case, you will notice a constant nudge inside of you – a desire for a more meaningful existence. It may be God’s Spirit that is telling you to take action. You may face challenges and obstacles during your journey, however the word of God has a scripture to direct you in every facet of your walk to encourage and bless you..
The answer for meaning in your life is inside of you; it is up to you to find it and reach your potential. The actualization of your potential will take effort on your part – a plan of action. If you don’t know what your purpose is, there are specific steps that allow you to discover it.
Finding your call will be met with opposition from many forces, some earthly and some spiritual. Anyone destined to do something great understands this. Knowing that you are not battling against people but against spiritual forces will allow you to be successful while using scripture as your reference. God describes the believers struggle as a battle against unseen forces of this age. But by staying committed to living a life pleasing to God as outlined in scripture, it will direct you on the path of fulfillment.
